Due to the discontinuation of round-trip and consecutive train tickets by the JR Group, the format of the JR Student Discount Certificate has been revised. Under the new format, one certificate can be used to purchase up to two one-way train tickets. Please note that certificates issued in the previous format will continue to be accepted for the time being.

To enable the issuance of the revised JR Student Discount Certificate through the Automatic Certificate Issuance Machines, system maintenance will be carried out as follows.

• Suspended Service: Automatic Certificate Issuance Machines
• Suspended Period: September 2, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (scheduled)

After the maintenance is completed, JR Student Discount Certificates will be issued in the new format.

*Even during the maintenance period, the Certificates Online Application Service is available. Therefore, Certificates issued by the Automatic Certificate Issuance Machines on campus (excluding JR Student Discount Certificates) can be picked up at convenience stores (7-Eleven , Family Mart, and Lawson) throughout Japan using the online application.
