Q. What is the procedure for registering each subject?

A.About register for course of Liberal arts education, usually it can be done through using Momiji (Student Information System) .
However, for some foreign language courses and compulsory subjects, because they can be registered at "My Momiji" in advanced, so students do not need to register for those courses.
In addition, for some experimental subjects and Elements of Information Literacy, attendance for the first class will be use as the register for the class. As above, depends on classes the methods of register are different, so please check "Procedure for register "for them.

Q. What is "Specified class"? How to understand the specified class?

A."Specified class" is, in order to make student take classes easily, classes which can only be taken by specified students ,and the number of participants will be divided equally and arraigned properly.
To check which "Specified class" you are going to take, please log in "My Momiji" and find "search for specified class for course of Liberal arts education" in "Introduction to Registering/Checking Courses". Furthermore, you can also check [Notice of classes' assignment" which attached to Guidelines For Freshmen" . Please make sure that you didn`t registered for wrong classes.

Q. I failed to get an English credit. I want to take the credit by re-take, but what I need to do to finish the procedures?

A.Please check here for procedure of re- register for English. (Re-register for classes which you have dropped the credits )

Q. What kind of class is the English proficiency class?

A.It is classes which are summarized in students who have the same level of academic ability of English.

Q. Please tell me how to re-take of Basic foreign language.

A.Please refer to here for the re-taking method of the basic foreign language

Q. Dose basic foreign language II cannot be finished if I failed to get the credit of basic foreign language I?

A.ou can register for basic foreign language II. However, you might fail again in second semester without working hard. So please work hard on your studying. Furthermore, you can re-register f basic foreign language I next year.

Q. Is there a chance to select again in the next fiscal year if the desired package cannot be selected?

A.here is no chance in principle.

Q. Can I take the course subject of the package other than the selected ones?

A.We are sorry to tell you, you can not do it. Please choose three classes in a package course.

Q. When can I get the result of selection of participants?

A.Selection of participants will be hold in the period of adjustment. Please check here for period of adjustment. About the result of selection of participants, we will inform non-adopted participants by the list of non-adopted participants on Bulletin board in Building K, The Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences. At the same time, we will inform it by active e-mail and "Introduction to Registering/Checking Courses" in "My Momiji".

Q. As result of Practicum in Sports lottery is "Non-adoption". Is there any other subject or time zone that within capacity available to students?

A.For sports practice courses, depends on the period and disciplines, deviation of the students' willing might be pronounced. In order to hold classes properly according to the discipline, there is limitation of participants; as a result, occasions such as non-adopted might happen. After selection of participants, there will be result of it on Bulletin board in Building K, The Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences, at the same time, availability of classes will be posted .(Here is schedule of selection of participants).
You can find available period and classes by checking this. However, the post is the statement right after selection of participants, there are occasions the registration of other students have reached the capacity before your register, please pay attention on it.

Q. Can I do Course Registration & Course cancellation during confirmation and correction period?

Q. I don't know where is the classroom.

A.You can check your classroom by login " My Momiji"-"Introduction to Registering/Checking Courses". Furthermore, changes of classroom can also be check by " My Momiji"-"Class Changes". By setting of "My momiji",function as notice of posts on electronic bulletin board can be used in Mobile Phone too, please try to use it.
For example, there are students keep printings of "Introduction to Registering/Checking Courses", or update from -"Class Changes".to the latest information.

Furthermore, during the period of register in April, according to the number of participants, there might be occasions of classroom changes. For freshmen to check the information of classroom changes. there are post on Bulletin board in Building K, The Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences. If there are freshmen who haven`t registered for classes, please check the information of classroom changes while referring the timetable of course of Liberal arts education for classroom changes.

Q. Should I do any procedures if will be absent from the class due to illness for a long term?
I wasn't possible to attend one day class due to cold. Is there a procedure for absence, etc.?

A.In the occasion such as absent for courses of Liberal arts education for more than two weeks, please submit "Notification of absence" to the representative in charge of education of the faculty/ graduate school you belong. Please contact the faculty/ graduate school you belong and the professor of class for your absence.
In the occasions such as absent for less than two weeks , please contact to the professor of class directly.
Various Procedures

Q. What do I do if I can not take the exam due to illness?
I have to go home because there is a misfortunate happened to my family. But it is at the same time as the date of exam, so I can not take the exam, what should I do?

A.If by illness or other unavoidable occasions, you can not take final exams of course of liberal arts education, you can choose to take supplementary exams. Click here for more information.

Q. I have difficulty in keeping up with the class, and I don't konw what to do with it, what shall I do?

A.For classes such as English/ Chemistry/ Mathematics /physics, If there is anything you do not understand, please feel free to talk to "Learning Support Office"
