Questioning Grades
Hiroshima University has a process where if you have any question about your grades, you can ask the teacher in charge of your class, receive an explanation and resolve any concerns.
In addition, if you are dissatisfied with the explanation there is a procedure for objecting to the liberal arts education and parts of schools or graduate schools.
The "system for filing grade objection" applies to all subjects in the university. If you intend to file an objection, please follow the procedure below. Please note that if your reasons or grounds are not deemed sufficiently reasonable, we will not allow an application.
If the school or graduate school has their own different policy, you need to follow that.
1. Filing procedure:Complete the requirements in the"Petition for opposition to grades" form and state your objection to grades at the counter in charge of the school or graduate school (see 4. List of counters in charge) attaching your academic record.
2. Objection period: The period or term is from the official grade announcement day of the subject certified by each school or graduate school to the last day of registration for the next term.
3. Objection reply: All replies are submitted to the bulletin board on My Momiji. Be sure to check Momiji. If no reply is received within two weeks of your objection, please notify the counter in charge.
