１．Application Method and Scope of Credit Recognition

（1）Only grades or scores obtained from tests taken after enrollment at Hiroshima University are eligible for credit accreditation.

（2）Students who obtain the designated grade level or score after enrollment and wish to receive credit accreditation must apply to their affiliated faculty during each course registration period. The Application Form for Credit Recognition through Foreign Language Proficiency Tests accompanied, in principle, by the original certificate or official score report.

（3）Applications are accepted only for courses for which credits have not yet been earned.

（4）Only credits will be granted; no letter grades will be assigned.

（5）The limit is up to 1 credit per course.

　
（6）If you request credit recognition for a course in which you are currently registered at the time of application, you must choose either "Credits Not Required" (単位不要) or "Course Cancellation" (履修取消) regarding the modification of that course's registration status.

2.Eligible Foreign Language Proficiency Tests, Subject Courses, and Credit Limits

※1　TOEFL iBT Details: Only "Test Date" scores are valid. "MyBest™" scores are not accepted. TOEFL iBT® Home Edition and Special Home Edition are not eligible.

※2　TOEFL ITP® Details: Scores from the TOEFL ITP® Test administered by Hiroshima University will be converted and evaluated based on the Paper-Based score threshold.
