Selection Criteria

The Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences

For both master's and doctoral course students, a thorough review is conducted on submitted application documents.

The Graduate School of Letters

○Doctoral course

Priority will be given to doctoral course students who fulfilled the following criteria.

(1) Candidates must be graduate school students nominated from each field of research and education.

(2) Selection will be done based on the academic activities of the last two semesters. An interview by the selection committee may be held if necessary.

The Graduate School of Education

○1st year master's course students, 1st year students of professional degree program, advanced course students

Selection will be done based on the results of the entrance exam. (Interview exam excluded)

○2nd year master's course students, 2nd year students of professional degree program, doctoral course students

Selection will be done based on the academic research activities (book and research paper publications , conference presentations, participation in contests and work exhibitions, awards, etc.).

(1) Candidates who obtained high evaluation in their academic activities (paper publications, conference presentations, etc.) with recognition and proof by an academic

○New students

Candidates must be top score holders for GPA (limited to required subjects) in the first semester of the selection year.
