● Even if applicants wish to apply for exemption for both first and second semester of the academic year, applicants will need to complete the application procedure for each semester. Information for the second semester of AY2026 will be posted around mid-July, 2026.
Application Outline
Eligibility
● Graduate students and advanced course students
● Privately financed international students
● Japanese undergraduate students enrolled in the 2019 academic year or earlier

Application Period
The application period for online application (STEP2) and submission of application documents (STEP3) is as follows. In the case of postal mail, the postmark date is valid.
For the first semester of AY2026
● Current Students
February 2, 8:30 ～ March 10, 17:00, 2026
● New Students enrolling in April 2026 (including internal advancement)
April 3, 8:30 ～ April 16, 17:00, 2026
For the second semester of AY2026
● Current Students
