Students will be decided based on support quota numbers allocated for each university. This quota is based on applications from Japanese universities to JASSO for the yearly dispatch plan. Nominated candidates from each university will be screened and decided upon by JASSO. |

| Program Outline | Student Exchange Support Program for Short-Term Study Abroad aims to expand international student exchange and contribute to strengthening Japan's internationalization and ability to compete internationally together with promoting mutual understanding and friendship with countries abroad. Japanese students are sent to study at universities abroad and all necessary funds for both research and education are funded by JASSO. |
