| Target Students | Those who have graduated with a bachelor's degree from HU before the beginning of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) study abroad period, including those who are expecting to graduate at the time of application. However, other restrictions (age, etc) may apply. |
| Program Period | After September (every year). Master's students within 2 years, and doctoral students within 3 years. |

| Program Outline | Student Exchange Support Program for Long-Term Study Abroad aims to expand international student exchange and contribute to strengthening Japan's internationalization and ability to compete internationally together with promoting mutual understanding and friendship with countries abroad. Japanese students are sent to study at universities abroad and all necessary funds for both research and education are funded by JASSO. |
