Class Objectives

Through this class, students are expected to:
- understand the foundations of wellbeing, a concept to play a key role in peace building
- analyze how their own physical and mental health, relationships with others, and society shape individual and collective forms of wellbeing
- recognize their own role in realizing an inclusive society
For this purpose, the class provides lectures, peace-related video, and peace monument visit to deepen students' understanding.

After each lesson, students are expected to reflect on how the learning contents relate to their daily life, developing a practical framework for perceiving and functioning effectively with themselves, others and society at large.  
Requirements Attendance at more than two-third of 15 lessons is required. At the end of each lecture, attendance will be confirmed by submitting (1) three keywords presented during the lecture and/or (2) a comment sheet on Moodle.
*Please be sure to check the details of attendance requirements specified in the separate document provided on Moodle for the first lesson. 
Grading Method Quizzes (40%), report to think about peace (20%) and final report (40%).

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it A policy maker in an international organization and a practitioner at a local agricultural company provide a lecture linked to their real-world initiatives. 
Message  
Other You are required to submit a report entitled "My Approach to Peace" as a common assignment for Peace Science Courses. When you fail to submit the report, the credits will not be awarded.
