This course is considered as one of the peace studies through the various lectures on war and peace, and other related topics.  
Expected Outcome1. To be able to think about peace from multiple perspectives and express their own opinions.
2. To understand and be able to explain various factors that prevent peace and the complex aspects involved, including conflicts between ideology and reality. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This omnibus class lectured by seven professors consists of two parts. The first part, beginning  with the discussion by students on what is war, deals the cases of the World The course is offered in omnibus format, and will cover a variety of topics: including the history of war and peace, World Wars I and II, the Middle East, the Korean Peninsula, Japan, and the idea of peace. The goal of the course is to cultivate the knowledge and independent thinking skills necessary to pursue peace as a whole.

All students attending the course are requested to submit the common assignment of Peace Science Courses a report entitled: “My Approach to Peace”. In addition, a final report based on the course content will be assigned at the end of the term.

Please actively refer to the literature and video materials introduced in each class. In addition, please take an interest in researching international problems and conflicts that are currently occurring around the world on the Internet and in newspapers.

Grading Method The overall evaluation will be based on the common assignment of Peace Science Courses a report entitled: “My Approach to Peace” (30%) and the final report (70%) (no credit will be given to students who do not submit the common assignment of Peace Science Courses a report entitled: “My Approach to Peace”).
