Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Our world is now encountering many conflicts caused by starvations, destitutions, and environmental affairs, which are all threatening peace. In this lecture, current status of these issues will be understood, especially by contrasting with food-production. Also, as measures to counter these threats, activities by WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME and JAPAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY will be explained by the lecturers invited from these organizations. |

Grading Method |
Assignment including attitude in participation to each class (80%) and full-report (20%). As a common requirement through the all peace-building lectures, the full-report will be assigned after visiting to peace-monument or viewing peace-related videos, and if not, credit will not be given. |
