Class Status within Liberal Arts Education | Have you ever heard of the automated bus "HIROMOBI" that runs on the Hiroshima University campus? It's a bus that runs without a driver! Isn't it amazing? But at the same time, some of you may be wondering if it's safe. What kind of technology and what kind of life do you want to lead? This is an issue that concerns people all over the world. Let's think about it together, sharing various ideas. (The class will be conducted in Japanese and simple English.) |

Expected Outcome | - Participants will get various ways of thinking the peace by virtually visiting some peace and war museums over the world. - Participants will improve communication capacity by joining English classes about new technology (autonomous vehicle) and ethics. - Participants will develop their capacity of global technological citizenship from the above activities. |

Within the context of an advanced technology development (i.e. autonomous vehicle), students will learn the concept of global partnership and improve their skill of communication and dialogue as well as their level of citizenship. |
