In this course, students will acquire basic knowledge of organic chemistry, electrosynthesis, and automated synthesis using sugars and sugar chains as the subject matter. They will also learn about recent research results using photoreactions and flow synthesis, and be able to understand and discuss various methods for synthesizing sugar derivatives.
