Through examining domestic and international literature in social studies education research based on one's own problem awareness, this aims to clarify the research topic for the doctoral dissertation and develop the qualities and abilities necessary for creating a dissertation, including research design, problem setting, research objectives, and research methods.

Preparation and
Review
Lessons 1-2: Aim to clarify your own problem awareness and the research objectives based on it, in order to analyze prior research starting from Lesson 3.
Lessons 3-5: Aim to collect as much prior research as possible in line with your research objectives, and to grasp the current state and challenges of prior research through its organization and categorization.
Lessons 6-9: Determine research methods to overcome the challenges identified in prior research and strive to develop research content grounded in these methods.
Lessons 10-12: Work to create presentation materials that are logically consistent throughout the research objectives, methods, and content.
Lessons 13-15: Strive to present outstanding research findings based on the presentation materials and to logically critique the research findings of others.
 
Requirements  
Grading Method Graduate students are evaluated comprehensively based on their preparation of handouts for each lesson and their participation in discussions.
