Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Fieldwork is not merely visiting a site to observe and listen to what is happening there. In this course, through reading and discussing “Being Alive: Essays on Movement, Knowledge and Description”, we will fundamentally re-examine what is knowing. This will enable students to learn the essence of fieldwork, and students will undertake a mini fieldwork exercise.
