Class Objectives

This course aims to provide students with a theoretical framework for school psychology, as well as foundational knowledge and techniques in school counseling and consultation. Through lectures and practical exercises, such as role-playing, students will learn to appropriately assess and understand the various issues children face in school life, including academic, psychological/social, career, and health-related issues. Students will also learn how to provide effective support to children facing such challenges.

lesson2 Counseling (Social support, Cognitive counseling, Constructive group encounters, Social skills training, etc.)

lesson4 Coordination (The role of coordinators, Networks, Utilizing school counselors, Collaboration with specialized agencies, etc.)
lesson5 Practical issues in school counseling and consultation (Resistance from homeroom teachers, Resistance from parents, Intervention in the school system, Promotion)
