Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course aims to develop the ability to independently formulate research questions related to “mind and body” within the academic frameworks of sports science and body science, and to systematically acquire research design skills and scholarly thinking processes necessary for master’s thesis preparation.

Specifically, students will engage step-by-step in the full research process, including focusing research questions, critically reviewing previous studies, selecting research methods, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting results, and presenting academic findings. Through these processes, the course cultivates logical thinking, research execution skills, and academic communication abilities required at the graduate level.

The course is structured around the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) framework commonly used in sports science research papers. Through practical assignments corresponding to each stage, students will learn methodological approaches that ensure research reproducibility, validity, and objectivity. Off-campus investigation and data collection may be conducted when necessary.

All course announcements will be provided to eligible students separately. Students intending to take this course must follow the instructions provided.
