The Basic Study in Curriculum Design C discusses and considers recent research theme on significance, principles and methods of organizing school curriculum in terms of a body of mathematics education research. It aims to be able to design school practice and curriculum for developing the quality of school education.

This course will deepen students' understanding of the mathematics education research behind curriculum development through the distributed materials and references, and will also seek to understand the research in relation to school education practice.
Based on the research perspective, students will consider the design of lessons and curriculum for elementary, middle, and high schools. 
Requirements This Basic Study is required for Teacher' License including Secondary School Mathematics.
Students of Educational Design for Teacher Educators Program 
Grading Method Students to be assessed by report assignments (80%) and presentation/discussion (20%).

Message Japanese language is mainly used with the materials written in English language.
