This course is one of the elective subjects in the category of "Career Development and Data Literacy Courses" for Common Graduate Courses. This category of courses aims to provide opportunities for students to learn about the development of the current social systems, to gain knowledge needed for the future, to concretely tackle the challenges facing modern society, and to acquire the ability to utilize knowledge and skills.

This course aims to achieve the following three objectives:
1. To acquire foundational knowledge of Japan's employment system and human resource management, and to develop the ability to understand career development within social and organizational contexts.
2. To identify one's own expertise and strengths through the study of career theories and self-reflection, and to develop the ability to communicate them effectively.
3. To explore autonomous career development in a changing society from the perspectives of boundary-crossing learning, communities of practice, and the use of technology.

Preparation and
Review
Lessons 2–7: Ensure solid understanding of the foundational knowledge of Japan's employment system and human resource management.
Lessons 8–10: Reflect regularly on your own career and strengths while referring to relevant literature on career theory.
Lessons 11–12: Actively apply the knowledge and frameworks learned in class to your own written and spoken communication about your research and strengths.
Lessons 13–14: Stay informed about the relationship between a changing society and career development, and develop the ability to reflect on its implications for your own career. 
Requirements It is particularly suited to students with limited work experience who are interested in employment and career development in Japan. 
Grading Method Requirements for Acceptance of Credits:
◎Watch the video on moodle and submit all the tasks specified.
◎Submit the final report as instructed.
◎Even if all the assignments and reports have been submitted, credits may not be recognized due to the following “Grading” criteria.

The following two components will be evaluated comprehensively.
Reports and assignments submitted during the course (50%) / Final report (50%) 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it I worked for a Japanese company as a staff in the human resource management department and as a consultant of HRM. 
Message This course is designed for those who wish to reflect on their own way of life in relation to their research.  
Other Course content may be subject to change depending on the progress of enrolled students.
