This course will provide an overview of mathematics from elementary school to university level. It will explore the development of teaching materials from both the student and teacher perspectives. In particular, it will enable students to understand mathematics as a mathematical activity and gain a deep understanding of the relationship between people and mathematics, based on its historical, cultural, and lifestyle backgrounds. |
