By integrating the fundamental knowledge and skills acquired in the basic nursing education curriculum, this course aims to enhance students’ ability to apply these competencies in clinical practice and to deepen their understanding of nursing activities. The course is positioned as preparatory education for post-graduation nursing practice.

/Class Outline
The goals are to:
Deepen understanding of the role of nurse managers and gain insight into the practice of management and coordination.

Deepen understanding of the role of nursing team leaders and gain insight into leadership activities in practice.

Deepen understanding of the role of nursing within interprofessional healthcare teams and gain insight into collaboration with multiple professions.

Gain an understanding of nursing activities provided in various settings under diverse nursing work arrangements.

Develop the ability to comprehensively assess the health issues of multiple clients, prioritize needs, and provide planned nursing care within a limited time frame.

Develop the ability to examine strategies for effective nursing practice in future nursing activities.

Specifically, students will be able to:

Through observation of the practices of various professionals supporting children and their families, understand the roles and functions of each profession within team-based healthcare, and comprehend the development of effective interprofessional collaboration systems.

Understand interprofessional team-based healthcare across the process of children’s health recovery, from hospitalization to home care and attendance at childcare or school, and recognize the importance of comprehensive and continuous support through collaboration among healthcare, education, and welfare services.

Through observation of nurse managers’ role performance, understand nursing management, the roles and functions of nurses in interprofessional collaboration, and educational support. In addition, through observation of exemplary nursing practice by nurse managers, understand the importance of pediatric nursing skills.
