Class Objectives

This seminar aims to develop students’ ability to accurately identify key issues in family law and gender law, and to examine and propose practical solutions.
The course structure focuses on student presentations and discussions, using judicial decisions and specific cases as core materials, while building on foundational concepts in family law and gender law. Through these activities, students will cultivate legal reasoning and analytical skills, fostering the capacity to approach contemporary family and gender issues from multiple perspectives and engage with them critically and rigorously.

Presentation topics will be determined through consultation, focusing on major issues in family law and gender law.

Suggestions on
Preparation and
Review
As this course is centered on student presentations and discussions, preparation for each session is essential. Students assigned to present should conduct research on relevant materials and prepare a handout in advance. Other students are also expected to review the distributed materials and related resources, identify key issues, and prepare questions and comments before class.
For review, students should reflect on class discussions, organize their understanding and analysis, and, where appropriate, compile them into written reports. 
Requirements - This course is conducted in a seminar format and requires active participation from all students. Adequate preparation for each class is essential.
- For group and individual presentations, students are expected to prepare handouts (presentation materials) in advance.
- Students are also required to review materials beforehand and prepare questions and comments for class discussions.
- Students are required to bring a PC to class and ensure that necessary applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams) are set up in advance. 
Grading Method Evaluation will be based comprehensively on class participation, presentations, contributions to discussions, and written reports.
