Learning techniques to be incorporated
Suggestions on
Preparation and
Review
Lecture slides will present the key points of each session in an organized manner, but students are not encouraged to rely on the slides alone to complete their learning.

As preparation, students are advised to read broadly the relevant chapters of their textbook related to the topics covered in each lecture.
For example, while it is not possible to cover all aspects of treaty law or customary international law in the lectures, having a general overview from a textbook will help students better understand the explanations given in class.

During the lectures, explanations will be provided based on textbook knowledge, with additional perspectives such as case law.

For review, students should move back and forth between the lecture slides and the textbook. By combining both, knowledge will not remain fragmented and can develop into a more applied and deeper understanding.
Requirements Choice of Attendance Method
There will be no difference in final grades based on whether students attend the class in person or online.

Students may choose the method that allows them to concentrate and learn most effectively.
For example, students who find that attending the classroom helps them focus are encouraged to participate in person. On the other hand, students who can concentrate well from home may choose to attend online.
Grading Method Grades will be determined based on the following components:
Participation and engagement in each class: 30%
Final report: 70%
