Lesson 1: Be prepared to explain art education philosophies such as those of Cizek and Read. Lesson 2: Be able to explain color and hues, the properties and characteristics of color, and color in daily life. Lesson 3: Be able to explain how to appreciate picture scrolls and provide an overview of the four great picture scrolls. Lesson 4: Be able to explain the historical significance and overview of the "Scenery in and around Kyoto, Funaki version." Lesson 5: Be able to explain Western painting from an iconographic perspective. Lesson 6: Be able to describe works of abstract expression in your own words. Lesson 7: Be able to explain aerial perspective, chromatic perspective, and linear perspective. Lesson 8: Be able to draw simple three-dimensional objects using projection and perspective drawing. Lesson 9: Be able to suggest learning materials for graphic design. Lesson 10: Be able to suggest learning materials for product design. Lesson 11: Be able to suggest learning materials for animation. Lesson 12: Be able to introduce several examples of the use of ICT.
