Review
Session 1: Survey your areas of interest and clarify what you want to develop into a research project in this course.
Session 2: Define the course keywords in your own words and organize the key issues into three main points.
Session 3: Design search terms in both Japanese and English, gather a broad set of candidate papers, and briefly record why you selected them.
Session 4: Summarize the paper’s key points accurately without losing its overall structure.
Session 5: Begin by stating the paper’s main contribution, and deepen understanding through questions and discussion.
Session 6: Examine not only the results but also validity, limitations, and potential bias, and consider possible improvements.
Session 7: Connect the paper to your own interests and reframe what should be asked next as a research question (RQ).
Session 8: Review prior research, identify gaps, and narrow down the focus of your study.
Session 9: Support your background and problem awareness with concrete examples, and formulate the research issue in a single, clear sentence.
Session 10: Align your research objective and RQ rigorously, and refine the question into a form that can be measured and examined.
Session 11: Define key concepts and visualize their relationships to create a conceptual map of your study.
Session 12: Develop a methodological plan that satisfies both feasibility and ethical considerations.
Session 13: Plan the structure by working backward from your conclusion and create your slides accordingly.
Session 14: Do a full rehearsal to check timing and logical flow, and prepare answers to anticipated questions to improve quality.
Session 15: Organize post-presentation feedback into concrete points for improvement, update your research plan, and connect it to the next stage.
