Class Objectives

The course explores key aspects of lifelong learning, including what should be developed in school education, how individuals can engage in lifelong activities, and how such activities can be supported. Faculty from Health and Sports Education, Human Life Education, Music Culture Education, and Visual Arts Education provide lectures, and students gain practical understanding through fieldwork and document-based studies.

Session 2: Lifelong activity competencies in school education (Visual Arts 1).
Session 3: Engaging in lifelong activities (Visual Arts 2).
Session 4: Supporting lifelong activity education (Visual Arts 3).
Session 5: Lifelong activity competencies in school education (Music 1).
Session 6: Engaging in lifelong activities (Music 2).
Session 7: Supporting lifelong activity education (Music 3).
Session 8: Lifelong activity competencies in school education (Human Life 1).

Requirements This course is delivered on-demand via Moodle. Students are required to watch the lecture videos, complete the comment sheets, and conduct fieldwork or document-based research related to lifelong learning in one of the four areas of interest. A report summarizing the results must be submitted. All course communication will be handled through Moodle. 
Grading Method Evaluation will be based on the comment sheets (60%) and the report assignment (40%).

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Lectures are provided by instructors with teaching experience in elementary, junior high, or senior high schools, focusing on school education grounded in lifelong activity education (lifelong learning) and on lifelong learning that connects to school education.
