The purpose of this course is to develop students’ basic understanding of English language education required of secondary school teachers in Japan.

Students are encouraged to actively read the references introduced in class as well as other related books.
Preparation, practice, and revision for mock lessons and lesson plan writing are required outside of class. 
Requirements This course is closely related to Introduction to English Language Education I offered in Term 2. You do not need to have earned the credit but you are expected to have taken the course.  
Grading Method Exam 60%, Reports 20%, Micro-teaching and mock lesson 20%
