This course aims to deepen participants’ understanding of foreign history and civics in relation to the high school Geography and History curriculum (history). It focuses on the premodern history of the Middle East, particularly the early modern period, including Islamic law and related intellectual traditions. As a final report, participants read selected historical materials and analyze them based on the course content, incorporating additional information from their own research. |

Participants will be evaluated based on reaction papers submitted at the end of each class session (35%) and a final report (65%). |
