Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course aims to equip participants with an understanding of the geography of the contemporary world, with a particular focus on the Middle East and the Muslim world, in relation to the junior high school Social Studies curriculum and the high school Geography and History curriculum (geography). Participants read newspaper articles related to upcoming lessons as preparation. The course focuses on various aspects of the contemporary Middle East, including its topography, industry, society, and religion. As a final report, participants read a newspaper article and analyze it based on the course content, incorporating additional information from their own research.

Requirements  
Grading Method Participants will be evaluated based on short preparatory assignments (6%), reaction papers submitted at the end of each class session (35%), and a final report (59%).
