This practicum involves learning the theoretical background and characteristics of social skills—the techniques for maintaining positive interpersonal relationships—and then conducting social skills training with actual children. The goal is to develop the ability to support children in acquiring communication skills and making friends, while also cultivating the foundational skills necessary for future teachers to convey their own thoughts and ideas to children in a concrete and effective manner.

In addition to the above-mentioned reference book, students are required to read as many books as possible that explain the education and practice of social skills. This will help them further deepen their understanding of the characteristics of social skills and the effectiveness of training. 
Requirements This practicum is offered year-round, spanning both the first and second semesters. To ensure effective social skills training, enrollment may be limited.
