Class Status within
Liberal Arts Education
This is a university-wide 2-credit required course. The learning experiences prior to university have become increasingly diverse, and the backgrounds of incoming students are also more varied. Some students may be accustomed to passive learning and struggle to adapt to the university learning environment, which emphasizes autonomy. Furthermore, it is conceivable that opportunities to experientially understand the fascination and enjoyment of academic pursuits are relatively scarce during the initial stages of enrollment.
Expected OutcomeIn conjunction with the foundational university education course "Introduction to University Education," the following learning outcomes are expected:
1. Understanding university learning methods and developing an independent learning attitude
2. Cultivating problem-identification skills
3. Acquiring methods for gathering information such as literature and reference materials
4. Acquiring logical and critical thinking skills
5. Acquiring and improving reading comprehension, expression skills, presentation skills, and discussion methods
6. Understanding social rules for navigating university life
