I will give lectures on the way of analyzing data obtained by social surveys. In Social Statistics Analysis II, we will learn how to analyze the relationship between three or more variables, with the ultimate goal being to understand multiple linear regression. |

In order to establish an understanding of the method of data analysis, it is indispensable to practice many calculation problems. Please purchase text that suits your level and research purpose and repeat training to compute statistics. If you have difficulty understanding the on-demand materials, in-person explanations will be available on Friday mornings during the first semester. Please make an appointment by email in advance if necessary. |
| Requirements |
Bring your calculator which has a function of square root operation. To understand the content covered in "Social Statistics Analysis II," prior knowledge from either "Introduction to Statistics and Quantitative Sociology" or "Social Statistics Analysis I" is required. Students must complete one of these courses before enrolling in this course. |
