Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this class, we will see how food or nutrition affects our brains. In order to understand that, at the beginning of the class, students will learn basic brain science, including the nervous system, brain structure, brain cells, blood-brain barrier, and neurotransmitters. Then, we will see how food and nutrition regulate appetite and obesity and impact some brain diseases.
