Class Objectives /Class Outline |
In the graduate program, you are encouraged to obtain advanced knowledge and experimental methods of interface / colloidal chemistry, including closely related academic fields. To understand the importance of the own research topic, reading selected recent major papers related to your research theme is necessary. We also recommend to read advanced text books on thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, colloid / interface chemistry. Your experimental data and their interpretations are shared with laboratory members at monthly lab. meeting, and discuss your problems and their solutions. We also recommend that you give presentations at academic conferences and write academic papers depending on the progress of your research. The research theme of 2021 is "Pickering emulsion demulsification using surface freezing transition of surfactant adsorbed films at the oil-water interface. |
