Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The course will discuss methods for designing a low-carbon society in Asia from the following five perspectives:
1.Urban system design to mitigate global warming, 2.Wise use of biomass resources, 3
Environmental impact assessment, 4.Policymaking and institutional design, 5Development of environmental education.
This year, particular emphasis will be placed on "1. urban system design to mitigate global warming", focusing on the methods and effects of community workshops using urban planning simulators. 
Class Schedule The course will be conducted as an intensive lecture over 2–3 days, with the start date to be announced in April.
