Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Through practical exercises, students will learn how to write papers for submission to international conferences and international academic journals, how to create a logical flow in papers, and methods to improve error-prone English grammar and expressions. AI tool utilization will also be explained. 
Class Schedule How to write scientific and technical papers in English
(1) Structure of an English paper, paragraph structure, how to write an Introduction, consistency of an English paper, continuation from Introduction, Methods and Materials, Figures & Tables, (2) Expressions and grammatical items used in a paper. The course will also cover the submission of papers.

Writing and Editing Scientific and Technical English Papers, and Tips for Oral Presentation in English
The lecture will cover: 1) how to avoid plagiarism, 2) how to write Results, Analysis, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, References, Abstracts, and Titles, and 3) expressions and grammatical items used in papers. In addition,  Q&A techniques and notes on PowerPoint for international conference presentations will be introduced, as well as the use of online and generative AI tools in writing.

Requirements The purpose of this class is to develop the ability to write your own papers in English and submit them to international journals and conferences, so please do not expect the instructor to review your papers in English.
