Polymers and supramolecular assemblies that function in vivo are important materials that support new-age medical treatments such as drug delivery systems and regenerative medicine. This lecture will provide a cross-disciplinary explanation of the fundamentals of surface chemistry, polymer science, and biomaterials science required for the design of biofunctional polymers.
