Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Class Objective: To educate and train aspiring researchers to independently plan, execute research projects, and produce results efficiently.
Class Summary: Students will regularly check their research progress with their academic advisor. Depending on their stage of progress, they will participate in question-and-answer sessions, discussions, and the submission of research findings. Students are encouraged to incorporate feedback from their supervisor, additional advisors suggested by the supervisor, and peers into their thesis writing. Moreover, they will receive consultation with the supervisor when presenting their research findings at domestic and international academic conferences, as well as in academic papers. This course aims to guide individual students in realising their potential as academic researchers who contribute to the advancement of their chosen research field.

Preparation and
Review
It is advised that students write a brief progress report and literature review immediately after the first session and continue this practice until the final session. Additionally, students should create a database for their bibliography and maintain a journal documenting the content of each session with their supervisor on a shared platform. Progress reports should be revised based on the supervisor’s feedback. Students should compile a list of questions and share it with their supervisor three days before each session. 
Requirements Those who require special assistance are encouraged to contact their supervisor as soon as possible, ideally before the first class. Reasonable accommodations will be arranged in consultation with the university's Accessibility Center.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The supervisor and guest advisors bring a wealth of practical experience from working with media and international organisations, including the United Nations and the OECD.
