This course provides students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in conducting academic research, covering essential steps, methodologies, data collection and analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and effective reporting and presentation of research findings. 
Class Schedule lesson1 Introduction to Research Methods: Importance, objectives, and key stages of the research process.
lesson2 Types of Research: Exploratory, descriptive, experimental, correlational, qualitative, and quantitative approaches.
lesson3 Ethical Considerations in Research: Understanding research ethics and responsible conduct in academic studies.
lesson4 Research Topics and Questions: How to select effective research topics and formulate researchable questions.
lesson5 Research Design and Sampling: Experimental versus non-experimental research designs; random, stratified, and convenience sampling techniques.
lesson6 Quantitative Data Collection: Surveys, experiments, observational methods, and primary versus secondary data sources.
lesson7 Qualitative Data Collection: Interviews, focus groups, and developing qualitative data collection instruments.
lesson8 Data Analysis and Interpretation: Methods for analyzing quantitative and qualitative data; interpreting and presenting research findings.
