Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Through visit to Japanese education (as a second language) institute and participation in foreign language trial class, understands situation of Japanese teaching. After learning on analysis of Japanese teaching contents, development of teaching plan and task, conducts practical lesson for Japanese learners. Also, seeks things to improve for the class executed by a student through discussion after practical lesson.

"Lesson 2 through 6: Read past reports on teaching practice carefully.
Lesson 7 and 8: Watch videos on model of teaching practice.
Lesson 9 through 14: Observe many classes, and participate in the practicum by consulting with TA for teaching plan development" 
Requirements "Open only to students who want to be a Japanese language teacher for foreign students. As this is practicum style, the number of students could be limited.
This is replaced with “Seminar on methodology of teaching Japanese as a second language II” in the previous curriculum (for students entered before 1999). " 
Grading Method Students to be comprehensively assessed by teaching plans, task development, reports on visitations of organizations, class attendance and practicums.
