・You can understand the theory and practice of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).
・You can comprehend cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
・You can understand how CBT-I is implemented in a clinical setting. 
Class Schedule lesson 1. Basics of neuroscience: neuron, action potential, synaptic transmission
lesson 2. Visual processing
lesson 3. Functions of parietal cortex
lesson 4. Neuronal mechanisms of memory 
lesson 5. Scale of space, navigation, spatial coordinates
lesson 6. Psychological process of spatial cognition 1 (cognitive map)
lesson 7. Psychological process of spatial cognition 2 (scene recognition)
lesson 8. Neural process of spatial cognition 1 (landmark agnosia, heading disorientation)
lesson 9. Neural process of spatial cognition 2 (place cells, grid cells, head direction cells)
lesson 10. Codes for spatial processing (continuous attractor network)
lesson 11. Individual difference in spatial cognition (poor sense of direction, sex difference)

Requirements Since this is an intensive lecture, please make sure to attend all four days.
