In this course, students will learn sociological theories and concepts useful for analyzing the characteristics and changes in the social structure of contemporary society and their impact on the structure of people's lives through literature readings, reports, and discussions. The course also aims to cultivate the ability to analyze and discuss matters of interest to the students using such theories and concepts.
Depending on the progress of the class, we may incorporate reports and discussions on the students' research topics and interests.
