/Class Outline
Students will consider the significance of the movement of language and culture across borders,  while also examining translation perspectives of various phenomena of cultural contact in literature. The course is designed to improve students’ understanding of some of the fundamental concepts of translation ethics, and of various issues in language and culture that are caused by translation.
