Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course aims to understand the theories and concepts of health promotion and to enhance their practical translation. The students will 1) Understand the concept of health promotion and learn how to take a comprehensive and multifaceted view of health promotion, 2) Learn about the development of health promotion research in each specialized field and the forefront of health promotion research promoted within this framework, and 3) To gain an overview of research aimed at solving issues related to health promotion, and to gain knowledge to integrate research results in interdisciplinary fields and to innovate. |

Requirements |
The specific schedule will be presented at the time of the first class (October 6). The classes are basically scheduled to be held on Mondays. However, October 16th (Thu), November 7th (Fri), January 6th (Tue), and January 14th (Wed) have different days of the week. The content of this class may be changed as necessary. |
Grading Method |
Evaluation will be based on the submission of reports (including due date and content). However, reports submitted for classes not attended will not be accepted. The content of each report will be evaluated by the lecturer on a scale of 1 to 10. The total of them will be added up. |
