This course provides a systematic overview of medical response in the event of radiological disasters. Students will gain an understanding of disaster recovery, health effects caused by disasters, the fundamentals of radiation, the management of injured and ill patients in medical institutions and evacuation shelters, crisis communication, and international assistance during disasters. Through practical training, students will develop hands-on response skills in radiation protection, contamination measurement, and the care of radiation-exposed patients. |
