The world has become increasingly uncertain and complex, with an unpredictable future ahead. The next generation of leaders in both business and research must possess the design skills to look beyond their own areas of expertise, understand societal and research challenges from a macro perspective, and develop micro-level solutions.
One major challenge—essential for business creation—is generating innovative perspectives and ideas that can transform society. Directly addressing global issues may lead to entering a "red ocean," where intense competition makes sustaining a business difficult. Therefore, this course focuses on exploring the processes, methods, and mindsets necessary to view social issues from a fresh, innovative angle and propose meaningful value to the target audience. Through hands-on exercises and individual reflection, participants will develop the comprehensive and multifaceted perspectives essential for successful business creation.
