Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Based on the professional background and career goals of individual students, this course targets internships abroad in private companies, international organizations, NGOs, and government agencies. In addition to improving advanced practical language skills, students will deepen their practical understanding of cross-cultural leadership and decision-making processes. The program also aims to support career development with a global perspective by providing insight into business etiquette, characteristics of the working environment, and problem-solving processes in specialized fields in different cultures. 
Class Schedule This course is an off-campus internship at an international organization or company in overseas, etc. The internship is conducted in accordance with the program of the host organization and based on the Internship Implementation Plan (Host organization, region, duration, content of internship, supervisor, contact information, etc.) prepared by the student.
One credit is given for a practical training period of one week (30 hours of actual work) or more, and two credits for two weeks (60 hours of actual work) or more. Maximum 2 credits are granted.

Off-campus practical training courses. Please obtain sufficient information about the host organization in advance. 
Requirements Students MUST submit a written the Internship Implementation Plan by the prescribed form (in English) to the International Management Group at least 2 weeks prior to the start of internship program. The host organization should be thoroughly researched in advance and included in the Internship Implementation Plan.
Upon completion, students MUST submit the Internship report (in any format at least four A4 pages, in English or Japanese) along with both the Certificate of Internship Completion issued by the host organization to the Global Management Group within 1 month after the end of the Internship. The Certificate of Internship Completion MUST be the original (PDF versions will not be accepted). Registration on My Momiji is not required.

Grading Method Credit is awarded on the basis of the Internship report, the Certificate of Internship Completion Issued by the host organization and the observations of the supervisor.
Grades will not be graded on a 5-point scale, but only on a pass/fail basis. Maximum 2 credits are granted.
