Class Objectives
/Class Outline
 Each research field in the humanities and social sciences has its own unique research methods, investigation techniques, as well as ways of analysis and discussion. However, there are common principles as scientific research in these methods. In this lecture, faculty members engaged in research in various fields of the humanities and social sciences will introduce an overview of their current research areas and demonstrate the basic principles of research methods in those fields. The lecture will be conducted in an omnibus format, allowing students to learn about various research fields and specific studies in cultural disciplines, and understand their diversity. Additionally, by gaining insights into what it means to conduct research, how to approach various themes and phenomena scientifically, and the rigor and enjoyment of research, students will develop a fundamental attitude and approach towards planning their future thesis, and acquire the basic knowledge necessary for selecting and finding themes.
