To introduce students to scientific theories for promoting health and physical strength, and develop an attitude of enjoying sports throughout their lifetime as well as social skills, such as manners and cooperation, through the practice of sports suited

In this class, student will be expected to learn
- The importance of exercise on well-beings of yourself and our society
- Literacy to get reliable information for exercises and health
- Principles of the human physical activity
- How to maintain and enhance the health of yourself and the society

Lesson 4. Health science 2: Aerobic exercise and resistance training
Lesson 5. Principles of human movement 2: Energy metabolism
Lesson 6. Health science 3: Benefit of exercise on health
Lesson 7. Principles of human movement 3: Motor systems and biomechanics
Lesson 8. Health science 4: Exercise for healthy aging and quality of life
Lesson 9. Principles of human movement 4: Sensory systems

My lecture will be in Japanese. Learning materials (texts, websites, etc.) in English will be provided. Writing assignments and examination can be in English. If you have any question regarding language in the class, feel free to contact me in advance.
