Class Objectives
/Class Outline In this course, students will undergo approximately two months of preparatory study before traveling abroad for about 10 days to two weeks. During the trip, they will learn about advanced scientific and technological examples and challenges tackled by the host country or region. The aim is to deepen their understanding through lectures, discussions, and presentations, while collaboratively leaering with students from overseas partner universities.

Class Schedule [Preliminary Learning] Sessions 1–6:
 Orientation
 Pre-course lectures by the instructors (on the host country/region and course theme)
 Student self-study sessions, group presentations, etc.
[Overseas Training] Sessions 7–28:
 Lectures by local faculty members
 Language and cultural studies of the host country/region
 Experiential learning related to the theme
 Site visits to local government organizations, private companies, NGOs, and international agencies
 Discussions and interviews with students from the host university
 Student self-study, group work, and presentation of training outcomes
[Post-learning] Sessions 29–30:
 Individual learning outcome presentations and discussions
 Post-course assignment report preparation and submission
 Submission of the assignment report after returning to Japan (the content of the assignment report will vary depending on the program).

Review Before traveling, please engage in preliminary learning aligned with your individual and group research objectives.
During your stay at the overseas university, please prepare for lectures, review materials, and prepare for exercises.

Requirements Students wishing to enroll in the " Study Tour Abroad for Realization and Transformation Plus" program are required to complete the "Introduction to Overseas Dispatch and Study Abroad" course before their study abroad.

Grading Method Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on their participation attitude and behavior in lectures, their efforts and contributions in group presentations, as well as the quality of their assignment reports.

Other Participating students are required to set their own TOEIC target score before traveling and submit their TOEIC scores taken after the trip. The languages used will be Japanese and English. During the stay in the host country, students will need to communicate in English with local faculty and students. Depending on the host country, pre- and post-trip training may also be conducted in English.
